On 23 March this year, the spring marketing conference for pharmacists was held for the 13th time, pharmacy owners from all over the country.
The motto of the event was : # together we are number one!
More than attended the forum 600 pharmacies and 48 manufacturers, who presented special offers and promotions at the exhibition. In the scientific part, top managers from the pharmaceutical industry took part as guest speakers, who expressed an opinion on current topics related to the health strategy and the possible effects of the introduction of generic substitution .
The official guest of the conference was Dr. Ivan Madzharov, chairman of the BLS, who congratulated the pharmacies for their professionalism and fruitful cooperation during the pandemic years and stated, that only together with doctors can a number of misunderstandings and problems in the regulatory framework regarding drug supply be overcome . He stated, that no confrontation between guilds is necessary, because this will only lead to a decrease in patient confidence and a deterioration in public health.
Adelina Ljubenova as the host stated, that public health is in the hands of health professionals and only the combined efforts of all participants in the process will improve access to quality and efficient health and pharmaceutical care. She proposed to issue a general statement to the institutions and the media, in which to clearly define the current problems in the regulatory framework and pharmacists' disagreements with the proposed changes . Her proposal was supported by the participants with their signatures.
